Seed warts are much easier to remove. They usually appear on the hand and fingers. If the skin on you hands are broken or cut, it will be easier for the HPV to enter. There are also times when seed warts appear together with plantar warts, but this happens rarely. HPV can be easily transmitted through sharing towels, clothes, shoes, toys, and in public areas like pools and shower rooms.

Why are they called seed warts? Seed warts have black dots. These dots are created by the blood vessels surrounding the area and they look like a tiny seed; hence the name seed warts. They can be very unpleasant to look at and people have the notion that if someone has a wart then that person has poor hygiene. This can be very embarrassing so naturally, a sufferer would want to get rid of it.

Here are some of the ways to get rid of seed warts:

1. Applying salicylic acid on the warts

It is always best to seek medical help before using any seed wart treatment. A doctor should have proper diagnosis of the condition to determine the suitable treatment. When using medicines or drugs, you should get the ones prescribed by a doctor. Home remedies are also available and if you want, you can consult herbalists, naturopaths, or licensed healers.

If you acquire the virus, it will not leave your body even if you were able to remove the seed warts completely. The virus will remain dormant until it is triggered again. Stress can trigger the dormant HPV and there is a high chance for the warts to re-appear.

It is very important to maintain a healthy lifestyle. You should also check your diet and ensure that you're eating the right kinds of food. Exercise regularly. If your immune system is healthy, the warts will disappear soon through the natural defense mechanism of the body.
